Last Night in 'Fedtopia' (C. Jenkins)

The night before the recording, Anthony and I ended up going to our friend Kevin’s house ('Fedtopia') instead of writing music like we were supposed to. So I came up with this in the shower in the morning, reflecting on the activities of that night.

We got the board set up, we're done selecting nations
We're breaking all the house rules, passing information

Chorus:
I can't remember my own name
Don't know why we chose to play this game
I can't remember my own name

We'll start to match some cards, the situation's drearier
The build up on the border makes me feel inferior

Chorus

And all our lives
We're metaphorically
Placing wooden blocks representing armies
On the border between
South America and Africa
I don't remember exactly which countries

Chorus
